Description

This boxy black mesh crop top celebrates my semi-problematic king, the master of suspense, one of the best to ever do it, Alfred Hitchcock. Front and center is the doodled silhouette Hitch used when giving autographs, paired with “Hitch Bitch” in a Vertigo-inspired font (even though Vertigo is MUCH lower on my list than most).

The breathable mesh, boxy cut, and cropped fit make it perfect for layering, styling with high-waisted looks, or just serving campy cinephile energy. I won’t even make you prove you’ve watched as many Hitchcock movies as I have to wear one! 😝

Style Name Inspiration

Sometimes name inspiration comes from actor's names and sometimes they come from characters, but please forgive me, consistency is not my forte.

This style is named for the character Maude played by Ruth Gordon in Harold and Maude(1971). She is the ultimate life liver and my favorite little stinker. An inspiration to me, and to Harold, and to many others for decades. Love ya Maude.
